... necessary we grabbed an amazing lunch - i got a sandwich ( i don't know what) and then i got a cake (i don't know what flavor!). Both times i saw it appear i said i'll have what their having - and presto it was delicious. The cappuccino was also expertly done and all of this for 12 euro is kind of amazing :p

We kept walking around looking for some souvenirs but just couldn't find anything we liked, or if we saw something ...

... Letters to Juliet was not at all set in Verona. Then I, being directionally challenged, went the total opposite way of everything and got us to castle vecchio and then I realized I forgot to give my letter to Juliet and made Sara rush back because i was ***** to put it in the mail box. Then we got lunch at one of the German places (goulash) which was amazinnggg and we got chocolate covered fruit at a stand near by - Sara ...

... the Arena, which we couldn't see inside, but even from the outside in the rain, was magnificen;, the photo's just don't capture this... it was far too damp...

I would definitely come back here another day, minus the rain, to take in an opera performance and many of the other spots that we didn't get to see. For now though, the sheer memory of the queuing tourists outside Juliet's balcony is enough to keep me smiling ;).
