We left Riva to head for Kaunas, with its magnificent castle, Town Hall and hot air ballooning in abundance.

No screens due to a strained "V" finger from previous flights so suffice it to say we are in Kaunas, Lithuania.

me and Jamie woke late at about 12 first lyin for a while. The Sky was
compleatly clear pure blue. In the kitchen/comon room victor, the hostel
owner, clicked his way around Facebook while I found some real coffee
and a percolator.



Something about Kaunas Brought Out the Chiller In me. Perhaps The
Streats with There Exspresive and inventive grapheaty or maybe all Art
galarys and public statues, we even found a few privat galarys off a

A quick boureto and then we sat outside singging silly versions of the
pop songs that played in the triple f hostel and waited for our bus.



After we picked up our stuff we got back to the bus station. Some of the
sharp looking young men saw us and our backpacks and came over. One
took great pains to engages us. It seemed very shifty. After maybe a

... butter jar (the butter was totally liquid in the heat) had rattled itself off and butter and tomato sauce was splattered all over everything in the box and the inside of Felix’s jacket which had been hanging over the crate and dripped down all over the pack-rack, mudguard and numberplate. So anyway not such an important or significant event (I had it all cleaned up in a few minutes), but I can’t believe the lid of sealed, unopened jar was rattled off.
