Rain in Lithuania
... overlooked a grey open field-it was a terrible black statue and it made the figure look like a vampire. I met a part time nun who had some interesting and sometimes tragic stories about failed and dysfunctional relationships in the area. Some of her stories were sad-some were inspirational.

The Naringa spit and on to Kaunas

A tourists delight
We left Riva to head for Kaunas, with its magnificent castle, Town Hall and hot air ballooning in abundance.
No screens due to a strained "V" finger from previous flights so suffice it to say we are in Kaunas, Lithuania.
