This is an interesting little tour and worth doing if you have the time, and definitely if you're a fan of van Gogh.

... it was the weekend and very soon after New Year's Day.
I missed out on seeing the Gardens and the Castle as I arrived late and they'd already done it.
From here we also did a half-day trip to Arles - see next entry.
There are other smaller villages around to do day trips to/from, such as Avignon.
Marseilles and Montpelier are also 2-3 hours away by train.

After that, it was off to the beach for a swim. The swim was a great way to cool off after a hot day.
