I know why Egyptians do that funny walk. It's to avoid getting killed! Where we are in Cairo, there is massive traffic congestion. The footpaths are pretty rugged - uneven, chunky and grotty. Pretty much everyone walks on the road. Some roads are quite narrow and cars are parked on both sides. Sometimes traffic barely squeezes through. Don't absolutely know the route they will take us to the Pyramids, or exactly where they will let us camp for the night - all will be revealed when we see the 'Finish' flag put out where the truck has been allowed to stop for us to camp. This cold miserable weather is expected to last another few days yet....... Loads of people haven't really brought the clothes for this prolonged cold spell - including me.....
