... to ride - horse, camel or carriage. I decided no to go for the camel. based on past experiences from another rider, so the horse it was! Which ironically was named Buttercup (she was a grey one) and quite stubborn, never wanting to go the way she was suppose too, except coming back in, she decided to run. One rider went for the camel, and that was cool. The wind was brutal! It comes off and just whips right into you! The ground is not even, to make it even better! But ...

He had a small table spread with handmade Egyptian goods and did quite well with our group. we bought several handmade bracelets and a mother-of-pearl tambourine. It was a little bizarre to find this little display in the midst of the Sahara Desert.

Some attuned touts were cognizant that Egypt's reputation was damaged and they needed the few visitors to spread word that visiting is indeed safe and would prioritize their conversations on this fact, rather than trying to make a buck.
