We were travelling up the Hudson River Valley. The river was hugely wide here with distant hills, and nice greenery. A creeper grows over the track-side trees. It was very cloudy and grey - not good for taking photos.

When the conductor clicked the tickets, he put them sticking up in a little pouch on the back of the seat. That way, ...

What´s next? If my legs say so next month ...

After we dragged the kids out of the toy store we were swarmed by people waiting in line at the Apple store next door to buy their new release Apple iphone 6. My ...

... sit outside it on a traffic island and they have provided free wi-fi, chairs, tables and umbrellas in a kind of plaza that actually does sit in the middles of the streets. It is strangely relaxing.

We head over to 230 on 5th which is a hop-skip-and-a-jump away. Oddly, the very old man at the front asks us for photo ID to prove we are over 21. The rooftop bar is a lovely space and we could actually see it from the Empire State Building. I am glad we have come in the ...
