      At the start of the week I went on a boat across the harbour where the Titanic was supposed to come in on its maiden voyage 100 years ago.

      In the harbour was the statue of liberty and so we saw that. We were now in Staten Island. And then I took the ferry back to Manhattan only to be told by Mum that we were going to WALK all the way to Brooklyn via the Brooklyn Bridge!

      ... we werent too sure of the hot dogs bit of a weird texture! Times Square was chaotic so was a quick walk through. Headed along to Grand Central Station next then along to Chrysler building for a look up to it. Popped into Hersheys World and Dylans Candy World also - managed to withold from purchasing anything suprisingly! Also passed the Plaza hotel on our walk.       ... on the carousel that is often seen in movies. She absolutely loved it and begged to go again, so she got one ride with me and one ride with Adrian.       We didn't rush around, but packed our cases and took them in a couple of batches to the lobby to weigh them. Then back to the room to redistribute things from one bag to another. I think we should be just OK weightwise with the extra duffle bag we bought. Waited for a phonecall from Livia, who we met on our coach tour.
