      ... We left it too late when we finally decided to try and get tickets to an event. Ended up wondering around the streets, bought some 2015 flashing glasses, pizza and some alcohol. Went back to our room and drunk then went up to the balcony for the countdown. Didn't even see the ball drop on tv. Quite happy we didn't line up in Times Square. Would have died in the cold. Also discovered our new favourite shop (gk and I not Mitch).. Whole foods. Gluten free (me)/clean eating ...

      ... had warm spiced apple cider and music and it was fun watching people try and ice skate while drinking something nice and warm and being thawed from the inside.
      On Sunday morning I visited Hillsong New York. Great service and moving message. Even though it is a huge church, you are made to feel very welcome and I met some really friendly people.

      ... Neither of us have ice skated before so we are a little nervous. Initially we are very hesitant, but it doesn't take long to find our feet, and off we go, skating around having a ball. They are filming a commercial while we are there, so we don't get the usual music, but we don't really notice, we are having way too much fun.       ... for our 5th anniversary! Walkes back through Times Square which was cool to see at night, all the bill boards and bright lights - very cool.

      ... cars as well as still ones and has had over 30 million riders on it with never an accident. Cam and i went on the Cyclone, an original wooden roller coaster. Cam wasn't sure but we screamed our way around. After a few more various rides we found some food.

      Once we had dinner the sun had gone down and the lights had come on, it was a different place bathed in bright shining lights.

      Some very tired but happy kids went to bed tonight.
