... is that it is dark so quickly and so early. I have barely seen anything but the school and the walk home ebcause by the time I get back home it is completely dark and Kevin and Jackie are ready to have dinner. Kind of can't wait for the weekend to have a nice big explore and take some photos for you!

Think I am going to tee up the gym this weekend too. They have alot of the same classes as singleton does however just fewer of them. It will be better ...

Two days before I get on the plane to sunny Mexico and Daisy and I are still unsure of whether we are meeting in Rio de Janeiro or Buenos Aires, my rucksack is defiantly empty, and I have not eaten nearly enough Christmas leftovers.

But remaining calm. After all, I have three lists to remind me of all the things I have yet to do, including 'learn Spanish'.

Six months ago I would of laughed at the idea of me getting on a plane, leaving England for six months and carrying all my belongings around in a single backpack. In less than 24 hours time, however, I leave for London to do just that. Still laughing though, in a 'what the **** am I doing?' kind of way, and, although the nerves are starting to set in, I'm actually looking forward to what lies ahead.

Margaret kindly drove us to Newton Abbot station to catch the train to LHR.



First class journeys are now what they used to be! You now have to collect your "free" coffee and biscuits from the buffet car..........journey good and arrived at LHR T4 in plenty of time to check in for our flight.
