    ... got there we were told that we couldn't swim there because the beach had closed 10mins previous. We came all that way and the ******* thing was closed. We spent the next hour or two driving round the island and it was nice and relaxing. Dropped the car back and got the ferry back to Playa Del Carmen. I would recommend taking school kids here based on the taste of the food, but the price and the fanciness of the restaurant may be a little to much to take a bunch of school kids into as it may disturb honeymooners or the upper class guests eating at the restaurant.

    ... rays, sea turtles ad much more. The beach indeed was beautiful but the crew turned out to be cowboys and we saw nothing on our snorkeling tour, not even many fish! When I told our guide I did not want to go back to shore until we saw what we paid for he just laughed it off so after a lot of complaining we got our money back for that portion of our excursion but we still felt our afternoon had been a waste of time.

    ... we were taken into a cavern system with rooms as big as sports halls. Again, there was amazing rock formations and fossils being accentuated with natural lighting through shaft holes. All this natural beauty was only available to divers even though it was almost in touching distance for those on the surface.
