... to Charlie Beach we hit a rock and nearly capsized. It was a classic example of where "she'll be right mate" didn't quite cut it. Might be an indication that we need work on our depth perception. ... people. We are all here for the long haul. Most staying for at least six months. And it gives me a feeling of belonging I have not experienced in a very long time. These are my neighbours and my friends. And it feels good to be a part of this, even though it is such a random coming together of people with such divergent reasons for being here!

We spent the next 4 days lying round the pool and then retiring to the bar for our sunset cocktails and "happy" cigarettes, which our bar tender; Mr love always had ready rolled for us! We didn't do anything during the day except swim, sun bathe and drink. We had big plans to hire motor bikes and explore the island but we were just too busy doing the afore mentioned, we just didn't find the time.
