    After getting the ferry over to Samui from Pangnang we got a taxi over to Chweng beach. We were booked into Rinny Hostel for three nights. We got checked in and headed straight for the beach. There are notices all around for Thai Boxing matches, snake shows, massage parlors and dive centers.     ... we didn't do this particularly well and aside from our car ferry colliding with another incoming car ferry, the trip took closer to 4 hours before we finally reached Rawi Warin Resort and Spa. Still in the rain.

    When we arrived the only thing in close enough proximity to provide us with any nourishment was the poolside bar where we contented ourselves with chicken wings and penne carbonara.
