-Ha ouais, il me semblait aussi que je lavais deja vu cet arbre la aussi !!

... He went back to our flight counter and told them, and they said that we had to go upstairs to a counter and they would get my bag for us and print out our tickets!!! Hooray. Fantastico! Problem solved.
The flight out of Santiago was amazing. We flew over the city and it was large, and then we flew over the mountains! The view was outstanding. Nick took a nap.

... and I got my first taste for the absolutely massive (and slightly absurd) amount of security personnel throughout the entire city. There must be 500,000 federally or privately employed security guards in Mexico City. AT got his passport situation taken care of while I tried to fall asleep in a small (and uncomfortable) chair in a crowded lobby - needless to say - I failed. I ended up trying not to watch MTV, because it was airing an absolutely ridiculous TV show about girls in ...

... though.The **** thing is that i am quite ill which i think is a combo of stress,pollution and temperature change so i am heading back to Puerto Vallarta and embrace the sun,surf and beach and prepare for the holidays. ... a lot of beatiful colonial houses, squares, convent, original narrow cobbled streets but now also boasts some cosmopolitan shops and restaurants - I raided the deli for nibbles and after exploring the streets for hours, treated myself to some sushi - I'd not been to one of those joints with the belt, where you whip what you fancy off the conveyor - fun! Detoured back to hotel via a traditional divey pulqueria (chickened out & got coconut flavour!) and Plaza Mariachi, where all the ...

... idea.... With that I was presnted with a wad of money and a new toothbrush and told that we would be buying me some new clothes when we got there. As we all got to the car, we realised that there was 9 people trying to get into the car!!! So into the boot I jumped with all the luggage.... Surprisingly it was a lot more comfortable than you would think... it took about 5 or 6 hours to get to Acopolco and watching the sun rise from the back window ...

City and were pleased to discover that we liked mole, as Oaxaca is nicknamed 'Land of the Seven Moles' as they have so many varieties that it seems there is a different mole for every day of the week. ... stood at the back of the plane with a crowd of people. It seemed there were two issues. About a dozen people had been booked in the 6 seats that existed in row 20. We were two of about 6 or more people booked in row 21. Wait, it gets better!!! Row 21 as printed on our ticket, does not even exist. The plane ends at row 20! Well at this point what can you do but have a good laugh. In the end it was all straightened ...

... He's having a 10-month long trip in the Americas
on a bike. He has a tent and he just biked everywhere himself. Well, he has a
funny story from last night but I shall not put it here....



Today I met my Mexican friend, Pollo (his nickname). Gosh, a lot of Mexicans
are sooooooooo short... I dun mean that I'm tall but a lot of guys are like my
height. I dun really mind the city during Christmas time ...

... outside the city...and I can see why some Europeans would choose area of Polanco as a temporary place to live...with number of embassies, old buildings, large trees...it does have some European feel to it.
