    Ko Samui is a small island south of Thailand. The highlight of our visit for Chuck and me was riding an elephant. We enjoyed lunch at a seaside hotel and visited a Buddhist temple. To experience the way in which they pray we lit insence, removed our shoes and knelt in front of monk as he blessed us.     Morning run, 6 km loop. Still no pavements, but it was a really quiet area where we were staying. Occasionally, we were passed by a few mopeds or pickups. Part of our run was on a dirt track where we passed a few coconut 'factories'. I saw a man with a massive knife and thousands of dead coconut cases, unfortunately I don't think he was the man from Delmonte.
