... there was to see as we were very limited in language, and being a smaller town there wasn’t too much assistance for English speakers – German is the second language for most Czechs, so we decided to move on and be more mindful in future of those pesky details, like
destinations!

We had so much fun today. We toured around the city on Segway and it was awesome. Although there was some blood shed (I.e. Erin and Jacob), fun was had by all. We checked out the Jewish quarter where we learned it actually was a very wealthy area. We saw the Jewish cemetery which I found disturbing that they would bury ...

... It's a little bit different atmosphere walking around here, and we're trying to blend in, although I feel as though we REALLY stick out. Everyone seems very well dressed and "cool." I really like it here. When we got back from Bamberg today there was a festival in Weiden, so after we went to a Greek restaurant and got 3 rounds of free ouzo, we joined in to sing with a backstreet boys' cover band with some other Germans. It was great. Can't wait for tomorrow ...

... I wouldn't change this trip for the world, it's been an extraordinary experience, saw a lot and learnt a lot, there was a lot more we could have seen and done, but it involved a lot of walking, hope your enjoying the photo's today, there isn't much to write about as we're not doing anything.
