    We had a great breakfast in a wonderful hotel (Alpchalet). We checked out at 8:40 to get to the ticket center for our castle tours. Our first tour of Hohenschangau was very impressive. It was the first castle we had toured that one could imagine living in and it had all the furnishings preserved. The walls were all decorated with paintings applied directly to the wall.     From Fussen north to Wurtzburg is what all call the German Romantic Road. It is thus because of the wealth, power, culture, architecture and art generated during medieval times and beyond. The road moves through Bavaria north into Baden Wurttemberg. We met several couples in our camps at night who came to Germany to visit only this.

    ... pics from the car . We were very happy with our apartment , it has the 2 quaint bedrooms upstairs and a kitchen and living room. We took the opportunity to buy some food and eat in.
