... nevertheless the chagrined doubters reluctantly decided to leave the sign-reading to the German reader/speakers in our group.
Yesterday was devoted to a visit to the smallest of Ludwig's castles, Linderhof near Fussen, where he actually lived about half of the time he was in power, the rest being at the Wittlesbach family palace in Munich, which we described in an earlier entry. ... two loads, we decided to eat at their restaurant. That's right we're trailer trash again. However, the food was great. I had my spaetzel with schnitzel and a salad, Guenther had a schnitzel with potatoes and salad. They also had Guenther and Jane size coffees. They didn't mind us sitting there while our laundry was going. So we played cards and drank coffee.
