Neuschwanstein became the most legendary perched atop a mountain and the design model for Disneyland. However it is not as lavish inside, and quite dark and gloomy, compared to his other opulent baroque style palaces.
Today was my two palace tour to Linderhof and Neuschwanstein and I almost missed it by sleeping in. I woke at 6.30 and had to rush out by 7.10 and catch the 7.20 train. I stopped for some food and drink and made it my bus meeting point just before 8.
