... was then played exclusively several times for Ludwig.

During this stage, Ludwig started to redesign many of the castle rooms. For example, the "Writing Room" was changed into a small grotto. The modest "Audience Room" became a huge Throne Room. The room was no longer intended for giving audiences, but was built as a monument to kingship and a copy of the legendary Grail hall. A massive Knights Keep was planned for the middle of the upper courtyard but was ...

So today was a day I had hoped to do for quiet sometime and really was the initial purpose of this trip. When Leanne and I first met she saw that I had a poster of the Neuschwanstein Castle. The kids have found some friends here who they have been hanging around with while we're at the hotel. There's a boy, Cedric, and two girls, Charlotta and Olivia. Beautiful dutch children traveling with their father on holiday. It's been nice for Mac and Josie, having some kids to hang out with, play ping-pong and card games. Mac and Cedric have been playing chess as well.

    All in all, a ...
