A big fat, universe-sized thank you to everyone who
stepped up immediately to help out while we were away from the show: Cristian,
Bethanie, Jacob, Armando, Tavana, Hugo, Oriana, the Moss family, Jason, and

... a gas station/truck stop (the chain of stores, J&H Family Stores, at this gas station are the circus sponsors here) so when we finally arrived, we were shown where to park, we bought some snacks and settled in to the Ice Worlds part of the Planet Earth DVD (the emperor penguins are my absolute favorite part of that DVD).

I had to write an entry for this most fabulous Sunday I've been having. Actually it's been quite a great weekend. Not many people realize what the Renaissance Festival is. If you're included in this group, I'll try to fill you in. It's a giant festival full of enthusiastic Renaissance-loving guys and gals (and ogres, and pirates, etc..) ... time to unwind. My shoulders and arms were a bit sore today after all the paddling. We had goulash for supper and had devotions from Todd and got camp prepared for a potential coming storm. Hopefully we will not be starting out in the rain tomorrow. Tonight Brian’s son Jake joined us again for the remainder of the trip.
