Today we explored Deep Mani, the arid southern half of the Peloponnese's "middle finger," noted for its martial towers and fierce inhabitants. After walking around Vathia, we took advantage of unseasonably warm weather to swim, hike, and lunch on the beach at Porto Kayio. ...

On the 6th floor our modest, but clean and lovely room, has a great balcony with stunning views over Athens and the Acropolis! A beer on the balcony, bliss! This however followed by a very long sleep, so consequently was up at 4 am ready for the day! We only have 2 days in their crumbling fascinating city, so we'll be first to breakfast at 7, then head off for the ...

... has to be our easter break in a sunny and beautiful Barcelona. The architecture, the art, the food, the beautiful weather, everything seem to be perfect for us for these five days Memorable joint travel experiences: - sipping cider at Copenhagen's scenic Nyhavn - Zurich's and Barcelona's modern art museums, as well as endless visits at London's Tate modern - a quiet Sunday afternoon at Bern, walking around the (regrettably closed) semi-underground ...
