... we agree, and await the best pizza in Paris, or so they say. Our waiter is more interested in chatting up the girls on the table next to us rather than helping us. We order pizza and beer, a proven formula. Our pizza arrives, within 5 minutes, and our beers about 5 minutes later, go figure, could have been longer had our waiter been romantically successful. The pizza was okay, wood fired, tasty but we have had better. Walk home, ...

... had to fight your way through the masses to take a quick snap before you were swallowed up by the hoards, if you survived the street hecklers trying to sell you touristy paraphernalia on the way in. Fortunately, the experience this time round was vastly different. With the Summer season passed we were one of only a handful of people taking the stairs up and had the first level pretty much to ourselves. Imagine, the Eiffel Tower, to yourself!
