... ham for sandwiches. Students have different lunch times, so they just kind of came and went in their own time. It wasn't as organized as how it was for my lunch periods which had distinct starts, ends and transitions. The school didn't have a ton of decorations or student products up and around. The natur program had an aquarium, and the tekniska program had some wired things on display. But overall, the school seemed quite spartan. They were notably missing any school spirit ...

... We ate it with julmust, a Swedish carbonated drink that is available only during Christmas. Apparently, the sale of Coca Cola drops by 50% here during winter holidays because of julmust...! We watched the latest episode of Allt för Sverige and a scary movie called Darkness Falls while we munched on pizza and raspberry sorbet as a dessert. Fun times! Then we watched half of Jumanji before calling it a night. RIP Robin Williams ...

... that makes it more arduous to do it regularly! Also, people aren't partying and drinking as much in the hostel these days. I got a happy meal from McDonalds because I was too hungry to wait to get back to the hostel and cook. I got a hamburger happy meal (32kr, about $4.50?) and it was the best happy meal ever! First it came with a burger, drink, and fries as per usual.. (not that I'm a happy meal expert). Then I had the choice of apples or carrots ...

... was meh... A LOT of sweaters. They were kind of, I don't know how to put it. There's something not very pleasant about old stretched out sweaters. I convinced an elderly Swedish lady to buy a scarf though! ... used to sneak over the back fence of the stadium. In fact, the team's fan club, know as the Black Army formed at about the time Lars started going to the matches and he considers himself one of the founding members!

The team has recently moved into it's new stadium, Friend's Arena. We were excited to see the new facility. It's easy to travel to Solna via the tunnelbana and then walk just 2 km to the arena. ...
