We left Interlaken at 8:30 to begin the approximate three hour climb to the top. This is an amazing journey. You have to change trains twice after leaving Interlaken. Each change is a steeper ascent toward the summit. The last two are by clog train.

As we wound our way up the Susten Pass toward Interlaken, we were soon surrounded by glaciers, snowy mountains and enshrouded in clouds. There was a little excitement when we realized that we were really quite low on gas but we made it over the pass (coasting the whole way down), to a tiny town with a tiny gas station with plenty of gas for sale before reaching Interlaken where we left the car. Off I went to town to see if I could find an estate agent and for my 15.00 appointment. I also went to return a game pack we had bought that only had 4 dice instead of 5 which is useless when you want to play kniffel/jatzee.
