... back to the train ticketing office, waited in line again, lucked out by getting the same agent and had her reissue us round trip tickets for only 4 Francs more. (Yes, that’s right….Swiss Francs, as Switzerland is not technically part of the EU and does not uses Euros for currency.) ... so we opt for some chicken wings & a hot dog. I ask a young Swiss boy for directions to the train station & we set off to figure out how to get back to Lauterbrunnen. We chose the eastern route for there first leg. I had been ...

There was a little excitement when we realized that we were really quite low on gas but we made it over the pass (coasting the whole way down), to a tiny town with a tiny gas station with plenty of gas for sale before reaching Interlaken where we left the car. The Swiss transport system ...

Off I went to town to see if I could find an estate agent and for my 15.00 appointment. I also went to return a game pack we had bought that only had 4 dice instead of 5 which is useless when you want to play kniffel/jatzee. The lady at the counter offered me the 5 th dice and while I was thinking about it she said or you can have your money back, opened the till threw the money at me and then promptly turned ...
