... The Lambertenghi family are genuinely gracious people and it was a delight to meet them; it was less of a delight to squeeze our rental car through the narrow cobble-stoned streets to their Palazzo - but we made it!

Dinner that night was selected from what was 'close and quick', but turned out to include a highlight for Jeannie: a vegetarian lasagne. Not what we expected, it had very little pasta and was served in a small bowl with layers of vegetables ...

... the snow froze my forehead where the helmet didn't cover. and so the snow froze to it. We had luch and warmed up and then me and JJ went to the restaurant back at Kleine Scheidegg whilst mum and dad skied some more. We rode the train back down to Lauterbrunnen and stopped at the Oberland Hotel for supper. It is on the main street on ...

... a great community feeling!). Though the plan was to have it for lunch, we arrived too early at our hostel to check in, and ended up buying lunch on a patio to fill our time (at 12$, it was expensive, but compared to the previous 20€ paella mistake, it could have been worse). Dinner and hopefully lunch on the train tomorrow! Stopped in to see trummelbach falls, en route to lauterbunnen, definitely a beautiful natural attraction! Then followed a ...

Off I went to town to see if I could find an estate agent and for my 15.00 appointment. I also went to return a game pack we had bought that only had 4 dice instead of 5 which is useless when you want to play kniffel/jatzee. The lady at the counter offered me the 5 th dice and while I was thinking about it she said or you can have your money back, opened the till threw the money at me and then promptly turned ...
