    ... get really warm. I walked a couple of kilometers alongside a river and could hear it getting bigger and wilder with each step. The path changed to a paved road and after 4 hours and 15 minutes of hiking i was back in the civilized world. After 30 minutes the local bus came to bring me to Tokura.     Today, I set out for Kusatsu Onsen resort town, 75 km from Takasaki with almost 1,900 metres of climbing. My legs were shot from yesterday's ride and I also had some knee pain.
