... walk to the temple where the hanamatsuri ended. The Kosenji temple is a Buddhist temple that celebrates the glory of Kusatsu Onsen. There were lots of small stands with activities for the children. Nice temple located on a hilltop overlooking the Yubatake en the town center. When walking back to the bus stop we pass a large stand where they sell knives, shears, pruning shears in all sizes. We buy a shear in the shape of ikebana clippers, the rounded handle ...

... in there. Everything is geared to tiny Japanese people.... According to Japanese custom shoes needs to be removed when entering the room, room slippers are waiting for us. This morning, once again, we woke up to a white snowy wonderland. We had a delicious Japanese breakfast of salmon, rice, miso soup, and a tofu, which filled prepped us for the day of snowboarding ahead. After breakfast, we got on the bus and headed to the slopes. We met up with our instructor for the day and headed off to the same beginner slope as yesterday. After a couple of runs on that slope, our instructor brought us onto ...

After a long nights rest, we woke up to a completely white winter wonderland. The amount of snowfall that collected through the night was insane and it still continued to snow. We were served a delicious breakfast of chicken quiche, potato rosti, fruit, bread rolls, salad, and some orange juice and tea. Afterwards we headed straight onto the shuttle bus back to the Gala Snow Resort. We arrived there in time for our lesson with an instructor from the Canyon school and ...
