... decrepit playground with 30 minutes left of the tour. Neither Will or his new friends cared about its poor conditions as they happily played. I ate my late lunch and got to know Erica. We giggled as we tackily sipped wine directly from the bottle. Luckily Erica's oldest reminded us we needed to meet the bus. We rushed back arriving with a few minutes to spare. While waiting for a few stragglers, Dai invited Will to sit on his lap and pretend to drive the bus. When we returned ...

It is a large and kind of dated resort which could use some TLC...... Our Japanese dinner reservation is for ...

... lights and it turned out to be a hotel. We asked for the blue monkey lodge and were pointed to some faint lights in the distance. 10 minutes later we were at the blue monkey lodge. We were shown to our room, a traditional Japanese style room with a tatami woven floor and paper screens. The room was square with wardrobes that held a futon for later use. You effectively make your own futon bed every night which we found a little poor considering we had ...

... in which I had to stop and go to the bathroom to clean up. Besides that, this afternoon was so much fun. The banana crepe with chocolate sauce, cheesecake, ice cream, and cream was also absolutely amazing. Coming back to the lodge for a hot shower felt amazing and a dinner of Japanese hot pot was served. This meal was perfect for a cold winter night. Tomorrow, we're heading to Tokyo after a morning snowboard, which I am very excited ...
