Learning from Takao that day was informative with regards to similarities and differences between neighboring farms. Although only a few minutes away from each other, each had a specific method of farming that was unique ...

... in the museum and my understanding is that a printing of a beautiful woman was highly valued and a noble artistic topic of study. We were entranced by a few and once you see the delicacy of the carved wooden lines and the detail of color and form on these prints it is hard to tear your eyes away. The work and the dedication of these printings is phenomenal and in my mind much superior to the paint splattered canvases we attribute to modern art...but what do I know?
