One more rainy day in the city
Malgosia and I decided that we needed one more shopping day in the city. Unfortunately the rain decided to follow us and we hardly enjoyed our trip as much as we had anticipated.
After running some necessary errands, we stopped by the shopping mall called "The Old Brewery" (from the structure it replaced) where we tried to find some gifts and trinkets.

... graduated with a Masters degree, and an Engineer, too. I can't tell you how proud I am of her for fighting hard to reach her dream and not giving up when times were tough, especially when the support of her family was not there.

... I returned home in time to peel my broad beans and boil them before obiad.
You boil the broad beans with a tablespoon of salt till the water turns black. Then drain them and drizzle them with butter. You pop them out of their skins right into your mouth. Yum! Tons of delicious protein. Did I mention I left some for tomorrow? You have to peel them right before you boil them or they turn black.
