... was very surprised to see some tourists without guide climbing all over the crater and getting very close to the sulfur vapors without mask. What the hell were they thinking.this was a volcano and no amusement parc. I had heard stories of tourists falling in the crater lake, seeing this I was not surprised. We started the day with a two hour walk through the local rice fields and rivers. One of the young men who works at Lesong guided us around. So after our thrillingly long ferry ride to Bali, 30 minutes, we have arrived at our hotel for the next few nights, Kubuku Eco Lodge. I already know I'm coming back here at the some point.
