      ... to arrange a bangka (outrigger boat) and we were on our way over to the Taal Volcano. The boat took around half hour to get across the lake, with guaranteed splashing along the way.

      Being a volcano, still active apparently, the ground is made up of black sand and dirt, which soaks up the sun and super heated us on the forty five minute journey to the top … just what I needed when I was already ...

      ... that I didn't mean me, hopefully she knew what I meant. Why do I need to tell people stuff like that when I'm drunk, like when I said on NYE that they were the only nice Germans we had met. Keep it to yourself even if you mean it as a compliment.
      We left the bar around 2am after Josh had offended everyone he could, the locals all took it in good spirit, the old white men were less keen. We walked back to the room and somehow managed to stay awake watching Walking Dead. 22 hour day ...

      ... from the squid almost pot out the coals, meaning the cooking time took a lot longer than either of us expected.

      The squid for me was not a big hit I am more a Italian squid eater then grilled, his squid was done whole with head and body together, I chose to go steak style bad choice for the grill.

      So, after the squid was done we went back to the guard and ask his opinion, of course we had a handful of cooked squid on bamboo ...
