      During breakfast in a St Petersburg cafe we were delighted that two sets of cops came by for their cwaffee with glocks and tasers. After that, we went to the Henry B Plant Museum. It was built by Mr Plant as a 500-room hotel in 1886 at a time when Tampa was just a fishing village. It cost $3m at a time Mark Twain called the Gilded Age, when indulgence and decadence were all the rage. It was part of Mr Plant's railway system that criss-crossed Florida and brought ...

      ... Unpacked, house opened up and cooled down, and we are going through the DVR and getting caught up. Back in shorts, T-shirts, and flip flops
