      Was considering spending the night back in Gramado but
      hotels now all full and didn’t fancy all that santa/xmas kitsch which was probably
      overrun by screaming kids. OK, a stop at a chocolate factory on the road where
      Canela & Gramado now practically merge, some live music might have been
      bearable and a wood fired pizza would definitely fill a hole, but it was not to
      be.

      Having bought my ticket the previous day (U$ 2,195 + U$ 20 departure tax with EGA) I had to go back to the desk to check in - show my immigration entry stamp, hand in my passport, and update my ticket with the bus details. I arrived at the terminal at 7:15pm and waited in a very long queue.
