      ... which was the only option available, as "lixo car" was not an option. We spent more than an hour to upgrade the car contract and paid (AUD 1000) for it. We got the hotel "Tremun Mirador del Lago" at about 7 pm. We then went out for dinner (pizza at Napoleon). Before that, we stopped at the tourism office and at the local supermarket to buy water.       ... the terminal, which felt very Brazilian based on the few weeks I'd spent travelling around in June with Foz and Rees for the World Cup - lots of concrete, stalls and people. I found a cash machine and withdrew reals - the Banco do Brasil machines offered this great feature of providing 2 options for denominations you'd like the cash in which meant I was able to select more of the smaller notes.       ... it started opening. The English/Spanish book section was limited to say the least, so i thought "**** it" ill get a Portuguese one and torture myself to finish it. I only ended finding one book that was remotely interesting to me. It was a book in Portuguese about how to train to climb mount Everest. Then i though to myself "when am i actually going to read this, and why?" So i refrained from. Buying it. It might have been interesting though.
