This was a very different kind of park. First of all it is huge-over 2,800 acres. Again, we were very glad to have our scooter instead of our bikes. It is heavily wooded which made it nice but what immediately struck us as odd were all the large ponds/lakes that were completely stagnant. No swimming allowed anywhere in the park. We went in to several stores that we don't have in Florida, but didn't end up buying anything.
Tomorrow is on to Utica, Il and Starved Rock State Park and some wonderful hiking in the canyons of the park.

While I remember - I must half been really tired when I posted two days ago as the car I have is not a Chevy but is indeed a Dodge Journey.
