    ... Next stop at the Master of the Nets Garden which is one of the most famous gardens in Suzhou, containing a series of halls, courtyards and gardens.

    Lunch was as a muslim Chinese restaurant. Round table, lazy susan and lots of delicious food.

    The afternoon turned very misty, cold and rainy for our three hour drive to Hangzhou.

    We went back to Casa Zoe's for breakfast after moving from the Kempinski Hotel back to the Gran Park Hotel for work tomorrow. We then went to visit the Nanshan Temple, and walked around a market area, a bit like Confucius Temple area in Nanjing with small shops and stalls.

    We then took a lovely boat trip down the Grand Canal (which we have been on in Hangzhou also), stopping off at a hand-made brick museum. Another lovely day.

    ... area, we got a taxi out to the Lingshan Scenic Park area, with a large detour as the roads were blocked with military for some reason, and arrived at the park about midday.     ... they were really expensive though!) which you could watch them stretch out and fold the lolly batter (what do you even call that?) so when they cut it, the lollies would have tiny patterns and shapes in it, the usual shops that sold touristy things and ice cream shops. As we were walking we could see people with all these really cool ice creams and of course we had to have one. I can’t remember the name of the shop that we decided on but they had specialised waffle ...
