... couldn't imagine never seeing my host family again! Saying bye was the hardest thing about this trip, the amount of times we said bye and gave each other hugs were un-countable! There were tears, hugs and sadness, all different emotions from the first day we met them! Hopefully we will make their time in Australia just as incredible as they made it for us! Two hearts

Once again, we were pushing to ...

... The tour of the water town was very interesting - a Chinese version of Venice (complete with 'gondolas'). There are lots of narrow alleyways (with a souvenir shop or eatery in every available space). Billy gave explanations of the uses of various rooms in the residence we visited. He also gave selections and did a great job of ordering lunch for us. We had a bit of free time to wander around before heading off to Suzhou. Before we did, he offered the ...

... This one was on a smaller canal with a man-powered boat, more like what you would see in Venice. How romantic! We couldn’t resist. Our driver even sang us a couple songs. After our lovely canal ride, we went back to our shopping and walking routine, Tammy found some souvenirs, then we went to Pizza Hut for dinner. Pizza Hut in China is more akin to what Pizza Hut used to be in the west. It’s a sit down restaurant, a little fancy, and the menu is huge. There are lots of ...
