    ... which means he has now won 8 out of the 10 held so far this year, he has an 87 point lead over his nearest rival. Hope he does well at Donnington when we are there to watch him in 2 weeks time. Tom Sykes was 2nd and it would have been British 1, 2, 3 but Chaz Davies' bike mysteriously stopped in both races. When we arrived back at the B&B this afternoon, we discovered the pool had been filled and the view from our window had improved markedly!

    ... The seafood section was a bit disconcerting as a lot of the stands had creatures that were still wriggling and crawling about. I suppose you can't get fresher than "still alive." They also had quite the selection of meats, cheeses, breads, and fresh pastas that made my mouth water.

    ... very first Italian translation of Dante's Divine Comedy.

    After our library visit we toured some historical landmarks, viewing more art at each of eight locations. By and large, these were mosaics, which I'd never even heard of prior to my travels. They were magnificent.
