It sure was! She massaged my head and neck for a good 10 mins - it was really great, and I could quite happily have let her carry on longer.
The lad who cut my hair listened patiently while I attempted to say what I wanted done, then read the characters in my little book to understand what I wanted - hopefully I will get better at that over time, and today I at least managed to say I wanted a haircut...baby steps!

... cabin crew were pulling the seats apart in a desperate search for my identity. It meant we were delayed getting off the plane, which meant the VIP bus (Yes, I'm a VIP in China) was also delayed and other passengers across the entire arport were going to be late too. Their connecting flights', gates would remain open when they should have been closed, schedules would be messed ...

There have also been a lot of earth works going on
outside my apartment since end of Jan, and it seems there is a golf driving
range being formed. It doesn't really impact much on me - I still look out
through trees and get a glimpse of the grass area. I managed to find some early
photos I took, so you can see the progress.
