... day of the tour, we went to Valencia via a cava (local sparkling wine) cave – the brand was Freixenet. We got a tour, and then a full glass of sparkling after. The prices per glass ranged from €1.75 to about €5.50 for the "vintage" ones – very affordable! The bottles in the gift shop were also very cheap. I just got 2 small bottles of sparkling for €1.50 each. There were something like 140 million bottles of wine in the cellars ...
