... only people on the way down!

Brigitte was very patient with me as we went down a blue slope that ran next to the snowpark. We were just about to catch the t-bar back up to the station when the boys came and joined us. Sounded like they had a lot of fun with only a few falls. Brigitte and I continued to run the blue run several times working on my confidence and technique while the boys had goes on the snowpark. It was filled with ramps, jumps and steep slopes. Joel ...

... for me.

We walked a short distance to the slope, and luckily my shoes felt a lot better as I went half a size up and did them up looser. The ski field was busy with a lot of little kids practicing. Gosh they were good and I just stayed out of the way. It is a bit daunting when a 3 year old comes racing past you.

... which not only bruised my inner thigh but my pride too. It was a really fun run though with lots of fun corners, steep slopes to get a bit of speed then gradual ones to relax on. The last 2 km goes through the forest which was a great feeling also. After 2 runs, Brigitte had to leave us, but Joel and I did a further two more runs. Joel took to holding the front of my sled to guide me and help me turn as my sled wasn’t as responsive as ...

Trying to ski on Corviglia

... Very spectacular sight.

Joel and I bought a 4 out of 5 snow pass which included access to all the slopes in the Engadin Mountains and transport around the region. Should be a busy 5 days in the snow.

We started the adventure by taking the gondola up to Marguns which is the middle station and there I left my hiking boots and put on my ski boots. We had a few runs on a baby slope just to go over the basics. Brigitte looked after me and gave me ...
