        ... graded seating (wooden benches – the ones actually built originally), very lavish ornamentation. It includes a fabulous permanent stage set (designed for Greek tragedies) and ornate statues through and around the entire theater. Definitely a great visit!!

        ... we were unsure of what time we were getting in so again it was a bit of a lottery as to what station was coming up. We had to take it in shifts to sleep. Arrived at station Mestre in Venice, opted for a taxi it was rather warm and we were a little over public transport by then. Today, and for the next three nights we are staying at a campsite.         ... of driving - it really is the only way.
        We can recommend Bob and Jenny's for anyone wanting to travel this way - better with two couples who know each other - we have had the place to ourselves, luckily - it's warm, comfortable, with everything you could need, within walking distance of the centre of town and with its own parking spot.
