... green lush grass contrasted to barren desert-land; the Drakensberg mountains contrasted to the miles upon miles of completely flat land; the completely water-starved lands compared to the massive dams. The long journey passed very quickly with these views! I even got some glimpses of safari but seeing an ostrich (just one on its own in the middle of a field), vultures and a monkey!

... s used to be on 5 continents including America, and now only 2 - Africa and India. We had the awesome experienced of being photographed with a cheetah, he walks into the room, jumps on the table and lies down. We were given instructions on how to walk to him and where we could touch him and couldn't touch him. We had to walk towards his tail and got around the table. ... into Nelson Mandela's former home as it's been modernised so obviously no longer as it was when he lived there.The food was lovely and not too spicy - but they cater for tourists as the locals can't afford to eat out. Every single person we met was extemely friendly and happy to see us and we felt we'd seen part of what life in Soweto is really like.
