      Sort of okay ...

I would stay here again but only in a crunch.

The rooms are acceptable but the bathrooms have a shower in the bath that need an overhaul. The breakfast does not reach the standard of an acceptable Asian, Continental or English breakfast menu.

The staff are good and the service decent. I also think that it is a good location with several places of ineterest close-by and the sky train a few minutes away.

Finally I headed out for dinner and Ma was going to go to dinner provided by the conference (which she'd paid for). I was tired of not eating well, so I decided to check out one of the main grocery stores that Mi had pointed out called Tops. On the way in to Tops I ...

Today I'm going to a local school to help the local school kids learn English. I found out about this program from someone in my hotel talking about it. I have organised a taxi to drive me to the school and back for 700baht, the trip to the school takes about 30 minutes there and back.

I have been put into a classroom ...

... to be honest. The water park is 100baht per adult, kids are free. So about £3.70 for all of us! They hire out swim caps (that are required) but you get that money back. They have lockers, swimming costumes, floats and towels for rent so you really don't need to take much. The slides are more for kids, not much for the adventurous teen or adult, but more than enough to thrill our 2. They have wonderful toddler sections with pirate themes. ...

      Keeping Busy in Bangkok

... br> By the end of the main event, we were hungry and actually cold believe it or not, because of the strong air conditioning blowing through the stadium. We hopped into a taxi and headed for Chinatown where we knew there would be great street food. Seeing the many stalls and tables on the cart was exactly what I imagined this part of Bangkok to be like after reading about it. It's amazing to watch the cars and motorbikes dodge around the line ups of ...
