I would stay here again but only in a crunch.

The rooms are acceptable but the bathrooms have a shower in the bath that need an overhaul. The breakfast does not reach the standard of an acceptable Asian, Continental or English breakfast menu.

The staff are good and the service decent. I also think that it is a good location with several places of ineterest close-by and the sky train a few minutes away.

... seats were piled up with cargo and there was just stuff everywhere. We were squeezed in as it was and then about 15 local people bounded on board. To say it was uncomfortable is an understatement. I practically had a random Austrian girl sitting on my lap the entire time and I could tell you her life story. It was really hot and humid and soon as more people loaded on it didn't seem that funny anymore but quite dangerous. This was made worse as we were swinging around cliff edges ...

After yesterdays adventure I did get picked up again at 3:30 by Wallop, my tuk-tuk driver. In 2 hours I rushed through China Town, hot, hungry and overwhelmed but surprisingly calm. Without my phone and the map that shows me in which direction I'm going I would be completely lost though. I always just start wandering around and end up in totally remote places. Wallop took me to his place after a freaking long day, with another beer in my hand. And I then spent the ...

... we'd eaten in what is still very hot temperatures at 11pm and the headed to bed.

Well that was the plan until Mel realised the keys had some how magically fallen under the lining of her bag with no obvious hole in the bag. After emptying the contents of her bag on the floor outside our door, 5 minutes of us both looking and an embarrassing trip downstairs where the very nice thai lady immediately found the hole in her bag solving our dilemma and we were in and ready for ...

Lazy day at Jamie's before being collected at 4.30 by Cherry. She has been working not too far away today teaching ballet to little lovelies at an International School and we are on her way home. D'ny is just two and will start nursery school in September. The school they want her to attend is also an international school attended by about 40% Thai and 60% US and UK children. It is most like a UK school with UK terms, very different to Thai terms. I guess this is for ...
