I would stay here again but only in a crunch.

The rooms are acceptable but the bathrooms have a shower in the bath that need an overhaul. The breakfast does not reach the standard of an acceptable Asian, Continental or English breakfast menu.

The staff are good and the service decent. I also think that it is a good location with several places of ineterest close-by and the sky train a few minutes away.

... was something so interesting about the juxtaposition of the elegant hotel and the everyday sitting sit by side. As the hotel bar and restaurant began to fill up with business people, we took our leave and headed to our next stop, Harmonique. Mom and I discovered this little gem, about 14 years ago on our first trip to Thailand and mom has been visiting it ever since. Situated down a small, unmarked side street, you have to look for the ...

... you would expect from Bangkok's transport system. Ads cover almost every surface on the platform and in the train. Some carriages even have audio from TV screens blaring the marketing through the whole train. Arriving at the station near the markets we begin looking around and waiting for the boys to arrive. We killed time waiting for them by perusing the spillover stalls that sell everything you could ever want from clothes to toys to flick knives. ...

... A man approached us in the street and said he could take us to a Ping Pong show which would cost 150 baht for a show and a drink; naively, we followed him. Once we were sat in the bar already swigging our drinks an older Thai lady came over to collect our money- she wanted 300 baht per person! I explained that the man had told us 150 baht and that we would not pay 300 baht, she told me to shut up and that the man we had spoken with on the ...

Mr. Tom was right around the corner to greet us with cold bottles of water and a wet towel. I never knew how much I could adore these two things. We arrived at the floating market in no time. Lou Lou gave me some pointers as far as locals hounding you to buy their gadgets. I took the advise and was glad I did looking back.
