    Sort of okay ...

I would stay here again but only in a crunch.

The rooms are acceptable but the bathrooms have a shower in the bath that need an overhaul. The breakfast does not reach the standard of an acceptable Asian, Continental or English breakfast menu.

The staff are good and the service decent. I also think that it is a good location with several places of ineterest close-by and the sky train a few minutes away.

... and I didn't have a plan. I sat around talking to the other people who stay here and waved Christiane off. She's going on a slow boat up the Mekong to Luang Prabang today. Quite envious as I did that with Kath and Bob last year and loved Luang Prabang. I went for a wander through some markets and through the hill tribe market and a wholesale clothing store where everything is made from Thai cotton. But my eyes were overloaded and I didn't buy anything. I ...

story goes: we were at the airport, ready to check-in.. a guy comes and says that abu dhabi airport "collapsed" under the amount of flights/people. so if we would go there, we'd probably spend FEW days while they get operational again! they will put us now in a hotel (all expenses covered) and we'll see.. apparently, we'll work out details how to get back to europe without going over abu dhabi.. stay tuned ...

    Koh Samui and New Group

So I'm back in Bangkok after spending 8 nights on a Koh Samui all on my own. A little boring as it rained a lot but I did get some nice days in there and some pool and beach time. Found some amazing restaurants to eat at as well. I made a new friend, Kelly, who was there travelling with her friend and we went to see some Thai boxing at the local stadium which was awesome! An Australian fighter knocked out a Thai fighter and the. A Swedish girl all but knocked out a Thai girl! Kirsty ...

... in his prayers, maybe they work.

Andreas got attacked in the bathroom of a bar. One of the staff members is there to give you a neck massage after you washed your hands. Not the worst attack.

It seems they like to drink here also out of big containers here. But it has nothing to do with bucket drinking in Mallorca, they serve juices in big flower vases.
