    Sort of okay ...

I would stay here again but only in a crunch.

The rooms are acceptable but the bathrooms have a shower in the bath that need an overhaul. The breakfast does not reach the standard of an acceptable Asian, Continental or English breakfast menu.

The staff are good and the service decent. I also think that it is a good location with several places of ineterest close-by and the sky train a few minutes away.

... I get to the guest house to find that my usual room will not be available until midday and it is now only 10:00. I ask for a different room and the only one they can give me is on the fourth floor. That will have to do so I cart my suitcase, fortunately not very heavy, up to my room.

Tour was held at the Royal Bangkok Sports Club, but it was so massive and on different sites we couldn't find the right spot. Rozza was working so wouldn't be playing, but her teammate Laura was given the task of looking after us, well lumbered! I had a few messages from Laura, but my phone wouldn't work. We arrived an hour late after a good 90 minute walk around town, finding the venue was hard!

On arrival we were relieved to finally see people with hockey sticks. ...

First day exploring Bangkok on my own! Took the sky train down to Jim Thompson house, and had my first proper Thai street food, so cheap and really yummy, just fried rice and chicken with chilli! Learned all about Jim Thompson and his house and the Thai silk industry - actually quite interesting and I feel very educated. Learned some new things, 1, the black tiles on the floor ...

    Bangkok for a 3rd Time

... in 7/11 we sat down at a bar and also brought a beer out of courtesy to the bar, can’t really just bring your own in that would just be rude. Afterwards we ventured down the street and there was music blaring into the street so we all just started dancing in the middle of the street and then others joined us so it ended up being a bit of a rave in the middle of the street. We partied on till about 5am which apparently is quite uncommon currently at ...
