I would stay here again but only in a crunch.

The rooms are acceptable but the bathrooms have a shower in the bath that need an overhaul. The breakfast does not reach the standard of an acceptable Asian, Continental or English breakfast menu.

The staff are good and the service decent. I also think that it is a good location with several places of ineterest close-by and the sky train a few minutes away.

... and other bugs hovering around, it's part of the life of the citizens here and the actual experience of being here. We were able to get a plate of food for roughly $1.25 USD. Met up with our CS friend at MBK. Her name is Ploi and coincidentally, she goes to school in Utah up at USU. She took us to the Grand Palace and we met up with her friend, Annie, at the entrance. We had to gown up before we were admitted because we were wearing shorts. I guess it's a sign ...

... all depicting the history of Thailand's architecture. As we admired the walk through the magnificent site, the humidity seemed to increase and sweat was coming from everywhere (probably not helped by our new attire). Once we left the Grand Palace we found a lovely little coffee shop with the most amazing air conditioning!! After a couple of cafe lattes on ice we headed to the pier through a small market enduring some interesting smells. Lunch was provided by a little eatery ...

... it feels great to know each other so well, and will miss them a lot. I will also miss the beach parties, they were the best!! Dancing barefoot on the beach with fire dancers, good music, cheap drinks, shisha, great company and hot temperatures summarises the brilliant vibe and lasting memories I will take away from the islands. The elephants were another highlights for me - I just loved them! There have been ...

Up off and out to the mainline station Hualampong to buy our tickets for tomorrow. I had wanted to buy them on line or via an agency but you need to do this 4 days before travel. The 8am train is fully booked so we are offered the only bookable seats left on the 1pm train which are sleepers! We book them, we have no choice, but they only cost £7 each and for a nearly 7 hour journey that's not bad. We have a proper coffee in the station and watch ...
