Marvel Hotel Bangkok

... Lohas Suites in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok, the hotel was more of a small apartment with a kitchen and all appliances (washing machine was a god send!). And one thing the hotel had which was more than a major selling point was the roof top pool. The hotel was situated on a small road 5 minute walk from the main road, however the hotel had a 24 hour shuttle service (a stretched golf buggy) to take and pick up residents to the main road area (now we are ...
... the main line station and buy the tickets personally from there. We met
a Thai chap whilst shopping who, when asked about the station, suggested that
we pop into an adjacent “tourist information” office who would happily sell us
the tickets, thus saving a journey in a tuk tuk through steaming streets,
poisonous fumes and chaotic traffic. He assured us of his credibility by
telling us that he was an off duty policeman ...

I would stay here again but only in a crunch.
The rooms are acceptable but the bathrooms have a shower in the bath that need an overhaul. The breakfast does not reach the standard of an acceptable Asian, Continental or English breakfast menu.
The staff are good and the service decent. I also think that it is a good location with several places of ineterest close-by and the sky train a few minutes away.
