... no more people can go in. Not sure about the tea which was very green like spinach and which she told me came from nearby Bizen, but the ceremony and the serene view was worth every yen! She bowed so much, and so low that it was almost embarrassing.

... we were safely ensconced in our room at Benesse House on Naoshima. It is a beautiful spot and our room looks out over the Seto Sea. For dinner we ordered the bento boxes (containing traditional Japanese food). It is very quiet here, the beds look very comfortable, and our room is just wonderful. A good nights sleep is on the cards before exploring some of the art museums tomorrow.

There was quite a crowd gathered, with film cameras and all sorts. We stood around the edge of the crowd for a while, but not being able to see very well, decided to move on and into the castle.
