Stundum fer allt öðruvísi en ætlað var...
... mjög neikvæðri lýsingu á sígaunum í gamalli landafræðibók, en þetta var þó margfalt meira slándi. Húsarústir tengdar með þvottasnúrum, reykur yfir öllu og óhreinir krakkar og fullorðnir að reyna að selja ber og ávexti í vegarkantinum. Við vorum svo slegin að við gleymdum öllu sem heitir myndavél og þorðum ekki fyrir okkar litla líf að snúa við og aka aftur í gegnum þetta svæði.
Enduðum svo á því að detta inn í bæinn Banska Bystrica ...

So I arrived here in Slovakia yesterday after what seemed like an eternity. It took 24 hrs of non stop travel. The airlines were extremely helpful in guiding us and helping my 82 year old dad. They met us at the gate and treated him like he was a king or something. That was really cool. After we got here we were all extremely tired so we crashed. I slept till 12:30 pm today. Passing through the mountain
We're in Slovakia now. Crossing all country from south to north on our way to Krakow. There's thick fog here so not much can be seen. The temperature lowered much. It's about +7-9C here (compare it to +30C in Budapest yesterday). Roads are a bit worse than in Hungary but anyway they're much better than in Ukraine. Plus we're trying to avoid toll roads ...
