      ... Pluto's hotel at about 8:30 or so, and it took another 30 minutes to get checked in. Karl and I decided to have a drink and something to eat, so we went to the bar after dropping our luggage in our room (which was beautiful, by the way). Sandy wading gave way to precarious hopping across slick rocks.
