    Our tent was lovely and warm this morning, I woke late after a few phenergan tablets helped me sleep through a whole night for some much needed sleep.     ... the sea which was about 10 metres from our balcony. Piran is one of the jewels of the coastline for Slovenia. It only has a coast of about 40kms. This city was once ruled by the Venetian empire so there is a lot of Venetian influence especially in the small narrow cobbled streets and lanes.

    ... had been well worth the effort. The space inside is enormous and with many great bridges and viewing platforms it was hard to believe the business of the beach was only 45mins away above ground.

    We would certainly recommend going to Piran, we loved the weather, the sea and the relaxing holiday atmosphere of the place. This is now easily my #1 pick of the trip so far. A place I definitely want to return too, perhaps on a super yacht next time ...
