... As lovely as it is, it’s pretty expensive. No spa for me on this run—no discounts for people on the legs of the World Voyage. While the prices of the various services are less expensive than the Queen Mary 2, it is expensive nonetheless. So, no bubble pool, no bucket of mud and a hose, no sauna for this girl. Oh well. We took an afternoon flight from Logan to Fort Lauderdale this time around. I refuse to pay for our bags, so the closest Jet Blue flies to the keys is Ft. Lauderdale so that is what we decided to do. Being the anniversary of 9/11 the security at Logan was as thorough as I have ever seen. Glad we were early (as usual) to the airport. It was an uneventful flight and landed in the rather small Ft. ... I've never played ball on the ocean before so before dinner I played for about 90 minutes with two other passengers from Syracuse and Miami. We played two games of "Hustle", first to 21. I didn't win the first but won the second when my shot returned. My legs were burning from this morning's workout that it was difficult to shoot when being guarded. Its actually a real fun game.
