      ... back to our hotel. It was about 9:00pm and let me tell you, it was still hot and humid out. I forgotten what the south the was like in the summer. I was seriously just looking forward to having a goodnight's sleep after being up for almost 24 hours and was praying for a better day and my luggage the next day! Traveling drains you out for sure. I've never travelled for a flu day like that before, so my body was definitely calling for some sleep!

      ... we walked about 5 mins to beach. It is steaming hot but somehow we managed to get everyone down to the beach - before a shower makes us run back to the flat!

      Then we got ready to go and meet Ru's cousin Dom. We arranged to meet him at a Cuban restaurant about 20 minute walk from our house. Dom's wife is pregnant and wasn't feeling up for coming out, but he brought his 5 year old son Julian along who the kids enjoyed playing with. ...

      ... through poor, crime-riddled areas. Still worth it. Public transport. Know it. Do it. Spend less money.

      - TSA agents are not ALL ********. Some certainly are, though.

      - Vacation can be tiring, strangely enough. Take one day off and just sit around.

      - It's 6:45pm. My flight leaves at 10:00. Needless to say, I gave myself WAY too much time. There's only so much Neil Young to listen to.

      ... bread pudding sitting on a large pool of berries caramelized on a pan with sugar and drizzled with Chambord liqueur, and lots of all of it. So wonderful it actually tasted as if it was smoked! First time ever Minna couldn't finish her liquor, so mega chivalrous Howard answered the call of duty.
