... She was the owner of the apartment and had just made her way over from their house so that was good timing. She showed us up to the place – luckily there was a lift! It was a really old building – apparently been around since 1880. It smelt sort of musty in the foyer area. The apartment was really nice. They had some quirky furniture in the rooms. ... also found a Farmazia for stuff but the fish oils are rare and very expensive here. We eventually had a very hot, very long walk home. The heat challenged both of us but I have a cough and it was a struggle. Cool down and now Craig is watching the Tour du France as they are cycling where he and Terry went cycling.
Wow! It’s all in Italian of course.

... all the tunnels when he was little. One tunnel the Frejus Tunnel was 13 kms long and cost us $60 fee!! The medieval fair was on again today but we had pre-planned to have a morning in Turin. I chose Mass in the Cathedral with the shroud but once we got there we found that the Mass times on their website were not up to date. :-(. We wandered around the Church. It contains something of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati but as everything was in Italian I cannot work out which. ... playing in the pool. The landscape here is really amazing - very hilly, but lots and lots of little hills. It would've been hard to defend this landscape - you can never see what's coming!! The soil around us seems to be mainly white clay - so a tilled plot looks almost like snow.
