After wandering around the market and buying some intriguing venison pies and Christmas puddings, we drove along the Frome River valley eventually finding a sunny table at a pretty local pub. It was weird being hot that late in autumn.

Pleasant but also disturbing. There should be frosts killing off the bugs... not this unseasonal warmth.

Next day... off to Avis and Peter Gunn's to get more value out of ...

I waited around in the airport for about 5 hours until I boarded my final flight. When I got on, it was extremely quiet, I had a row to myself, as well as the rows surrounding me! Very casual start to the day, it was raining most of the morning so we didn't feel the need to rush out anywhere. Got going about midday and drove to Swindon for a look around.

Quite a big town, probably city, which of course initiated the shopping bug in Cheryl. I sent her off for an hour while I wandered around. Shopping urges satisfied, we late lunched at the Cornish pastie shop which was nice but not memorable.
