Thanks to marissa I now go into stores and pretend like I'm browsing the nail polish but instead just paint my nails. Voila! Free nail polish. Well much to my chagrin all their nail polish bottles were in packages! I could not get to them.

... for about 30 minutes and then another 40 on the bus ride. Turns out they were from Boston, the gentleman had just retired and so they were touring around France for 3 months. The woman had lived near Nice as a child for a couple years so it was kind of like coming home. ALSO, they had two children who were adopted from Korea! I don't know about you all, but I don't meet many people with kids who are adopted, so when that was revealed we had so much more to talk about. ...
OK place - bad time to go
We missed the summer lavender fields. If you really dig modern painting, Aix-en-Provence may hold some charm. Not a bad town, just nothing really spectacular.
