Marriott Seattle Sea-Tac Airport

We woke up to the beautiful view of the ocean and a clock that said 8am. Really? We actually slept till 8am? Did we take drugs and didn't know it? Amazing what happens when you have a comfy bed and no noise.
Paige was still dreaming, so Ken and I went to the main lodge for more views and breakfast. After watching the little bunny on the …
What a busy day, and filled with excitement, I have to say!! We were all packed up as of Friday night, and today both Seth and Grant had hockey. When they were done, Alan was kind enough to run on over, get the lowdown on caring for Moose in our absence, and off we went to the airport.
Our flight to Seattle left on time, and off we went! …
At last!!! I am here to SEE ATTLE!!! This corner of the world has always been far from my reach, but not today. Attle can run but no longer hide from my reach. First order of business - MARKET. You got it!!! I love markets, especially those open markets. I cannot get enough of them. I have heard so much about Pike Place Market that I have made it a …
Hurrah, safe and sound in Fairbanks.
Sorry peeps wifi, timezones and battery life have all conspired to
delay my first entry. Wifi will probably be an ongoing issue so
we'll have to see how we get on.
We started the morning with not quite
the usual last minute kerfuffle, this time around we were …
We awoke to a beautiful morning and lovely flowing river. We had breakfast by the fire and then headed back to the Olympic Visitor's Center down the Hoh Rainforest Trail. Different sounds and looks in the morning but all quite picturesque. Laura stopped to take several pictures of the small cascades and HUGE trees.
After finishing our …

What a pretty hotel! We took the shuttle to the hotel, had a great meal, enjoyed the overall feeling of the hotel, had a good rest before catching our morning flight. The courtyard outside was super sharp. It was really nice!

Historical Traveler Reviews Marriott Seattle Sea-Tac Airport
This was a unique layout for a Marriott (I've stayed at quite a few all over the world) - a central atrium area with a pool surrounded by rooms on all 4 sides. The architecture was woodsy/cabin-like. It is located on top of a hill overlooking the Sea-Tac Airport. Don't expect to walk anywhere, the hill is pretty steep - but the hotel offers a great shuttle service to/from the airport that runs every 15 minutes. The shuttle only takes 5 minutes to get to the airport.
Only stayed at this property for one night in early July, but that was enough. I'm a huge Marriott fan and had never been disappointed in a Marriott property, but this one was the first. We arrived in our rental car. We were given no clue as to what the parking situation was (valet, self park, etc.). We were greeted in the lobby by the food and beverage manager (different).
Kind of worn out!
Friendly staff and good location but this is a tired hotel in need of a major update.
Not staying here again
We were expecting a much nicer hotel than we got. The rooms were very outdated and seemed dirty. However, the pool was great and we loved the atrium. I would not stay here again.
I travel for business 100+ nights a year and stay almost exclusively at Marriott properties.
I stayed at the Marriott at Sea Tac during a recent busines trip and the overall experience is okay.
Very Tired Property and Dirty
Stayed two evenings in May 2004 for a conference. Despite being a Silver Elite Marriott Rewards member, was told Executive Level Lounge was so small only Gold and Platinum could use.
Room was per reservation, but seemed like miles away from the lobby- again especially for Silver Elite.
Room was very dated and tired as was the entire hotel. Dirty carpet in hall ways. Parking was $12 a day, which was ridiculous as other near airport hotels don't charge.
Only positive was the bell staff (when at their station) and shuttle bus driver.
Very disappointing and will not stay again ever.
I have stayed at the Sea-Tac Marriott four times in the past three-four months and I really like this hotel.
Great Location - Nice Hotel
I live in NW Washington and had to take an unexpected trip to the East Coast. My flight left a 6AM so i decided to get a hotel close to the airport. The Marriott was very close, had frequent bus shuttles and secure parking. (Parking is not free!)
The staff was great and the rooms where well appointed. Neat inner court with pools and trees.
