Marriott Santiago

Now we are back in Santiago. We did a tour of the city the morning after we arrived. Very interesting but because we were so exhausted from our Bolivian trip, we did not appreciate all that the city has to offer. In the afternoon we did a tour of the Jewish aspects of the city. By then we were more awake. There are about 12,000 Jews in Santiago out of a total population in the city of some 6 million. I slept almost the whole flight, so it seemed to go very fast.  Amanda woke me up at 6:00am.  The plane was still over the ocean, but I could see the Andes mountains out the window to the left of the plane.  We got to watch the sun rise over the mountains and just a little bit later the plane landed in Chile right on time! Hi, this is my first blog so, first Im Oscar from Mexico and Im going for a cruise with all my family from Santiago to BA, in a Celebrity Infinity ship. After a brief stopover in Auckland, New Zealand, we arrived here in Santiago de Chile about an hour ahead of schedule. We opted for a shuttle bus for the trip to the Marriott Hotel. We loved Chile!  Chile is a wonderful country...clean, orderly, friendly, beautiful and peaceful. Ahhhhh...back in Santiago.  We arrived at the hotel close to midnight and went right to bed.
