Overly expensive, of course, but excellent service from everyone from check in to concierge to cleaning staff.

          Shopping ... unsuccessfully

A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

          Underground caves and snake farm

First stop today was a visit to the Nature Bridge caves just out of Schertz. We decided to take both tours into the two separate caves. The two caves sit at constant 72f but with 99% humidity the temperature feels more like 80-85f, so as warm as outside the cave. Both tours were 70 mins in length. For dinner we went next door to Denny's then looked around the local Walmart. There are lots of black birds with cool eyes that make a real racket ...

Navarro served in the Texas legislatures under Mexico, the Republic of Texas and the state of Tesas. In addition, he served on the committies that wrote the first two Texas constitutions in 1836 and 1845. He was one of only two native-born Texans to sign the Texas Declaration of Independence in 1836.

          We had a "private tour."
