An electric pump on the roof pulls the water up the hose and deposits it into a large black plastic tank on the roof. It auto-shuts off when the tank is full. PVC pipes from the tank gravity feed the water into the house....kitchen...and bathrooms. Simple idea. Good engineering. But wait! You are asking if we are just drinking that water straight out of the well with no filtration ...
