The link below is to a youtube video of the event that we were honored to attend on the 70th anniversary of D-Day. It's pretty long so I encourage you to watch the first 5 minutes or so, and the last 5 minutes to get a feel for what it was like. Then I would take them to the rooftop and hang them on the line, hoping they would be dry within a couple of days. As I returned from the rooftop, somehow a fresh, hot, cup of chai would find it's way into my hand. Sometimes Katja. Sometimes Anji. Sometime Shameera. My brother taught me not to be a wallflower (I was painfully shy for my first 12 years). My nephew taught me how he loved me "all the way to GOD.", niece how ...
