Well well well it's come to the end of my first week! It honestly feels as though I've been here for a month....

Everyone at The Peterborough School has been extremely kind and welcoming, making sure we have enough food, warmth and sleep, though the latter two are proving a tad deprived! Jetlag is still a pain, and the cold is certainly not to be trifled with!!

Well here we are - freezing our butts off on the other side of the world!! After arriving at 5:30 on the coldest day of the winter so far, we moved into our house, The Lodge, and then went on a tour of Peterborough (pretty much just to see the shops!!). So we decided to take ...

It looked like a toy that had been incorrectly and badly assembled by children. These days, from what we could see, shooting brakes have been superseded by Landrovers.

The museum also had walls of mounted animal heads that had been shot over the years by royal game ...

      The Sleepover

A travel blog entry by maddyv on Jul 26, 2011

Colby and I were really excited today. We were going to Louis and Harvey's house for a sleepover. In the morning we walked Great Grandad around the park in his wheelchair. He really enjoyed it and we had a good time too. He told us about when Mum was a little girl and when she went over to his house and played lots of silly games.

We arrived at the boys' house at 6.30. First we went to Auntie ...
