Hi all. We arrived safe and sound! It was a really early start getting up at 2am but we had loads of time in the end after dropping the car off at Owens work and getting a taxi across to the airport (from now on they will be called cabs though obvs) Owen was nearly dead by 5.30 as he was overdue about 3 breakfasts by then so Frankie and Benny administered him some first aid in the form ...

Express checkout from Cabana Bay, taxi down the road to pick up our car (Chrysler 200), road trip down the Florida Turnpike (a major arterial tollway road) to Fort Lauderdale. After going through two lettuces we drove off leaving them looking a little disappointed as I think they would just keep on eating as long as you were feeding them. It made us really want to go on safari something I hope we will get the chance to do sometime.

We made it back onto the coach with just a few minutes to spare. We had a brilliant fun packed day at Busch and it was one of our best days in Florida. ...

... high temperatures and higher humidity. Only one rumble of thunder, so far, though.

The check in procedure was long winded and slow made more so by the "oh so helpful" booking clerk trying to move us into a disabled room near the lobby (actually the room is fine it's the people who are disabled) and the need to explain the new RFID bracelets.

You don't get plastic key cards any more (well you do but only as a backup as this system is still ...
