... to text is now a multi-million dollar industry. Doctors
at a clinic or a hospital no longer have the time to write patient
medical records. Instead, they chose to dictate it into a digital voice
recorder for medical transcribers to convert speech into text. The lack
of time of doctors has opened up employment opportunities ...
We got up a 6am to drive over to Anaheim and spend some time/money with the mouse. We chose California Adventure because we have been to Disney World several times and everything we have read and been told says that Disneyland is a smaller version of the Magic Kingdom. We braved ...
Anaheim, California, United States mbberg... Rick and Karon, Mandy had a different address than Harriet. So we set off following Mandy's instructions and Earnie being a good little fellow was right behind us in the car. I am not sure if everyone knows, but, when you follow a GPS (Garmin Harriet) if you miss a turn or go the wrong way Harriet gets MOST upset and loudly tells you "Recalculating, Recalculating" Well the ten minute journey ended up about 30 mins through horrendous traffic with the 29 foot Castle ...
Anaheim, California, United States popusa2008... International Airport, they raised their prices. Now everything was $15. Not to be deterred, I picked out a couple of shawls in colors that I didn't have as well as a pink heart-print shawl that I'll give to my friend Jennifer. And a couple of teeny little purses. Oh well, I guess I'll forgo my cocktail on the plane!
Ontario, California, United States mayg... on safari or something... He did redeem himself a little when a little girl asked him why the head hunter had stopped moving. He simply said "Yeah, his arm gets tired" We then rode BTMRR again, and then spent a little bit of time in Big Thunder Ranch. I was hoping to take a photo of "The Happiest Turkey's on Earth" but they ...
Anaheim, California, United States becbennett... rides at Disneyland. A bit of a line, but not too long. Enough time to recount blow by blow the Jedi experience. And when you consider that the ride is 50 years old, it was not half bad. Not the rush modern rides try to give you, but a pretty fair experience just the same. And if you have a small boy beside you in the car, thinking that he is driving for real, that adds to the experience. The great thing about rides at Disneyland, they are ...
Anaheim, California, United States cdcass... to the hostel where they served free champagne and watched the Oscars on tv. I don't know what happened. But the Oscars only went for like 5 minutes and people were buying me beers as well. After many days of continuous drinking I was ill. It's the worst thing in the world to have a runny nose with a massive moustache. Yes gross I know. The moe asks as like a heater to your nose! I was so sick that I pretty much vegetated for the next few days. I found out ...
Los Angeles, California, United States bharden... voice, "Wheat!" So I handed him a piece of wheat bread. Then he started to get a little upset. "What is wrong with you? Are you doing okay?" And I just replied, "I'm doing fine. Thank you, sir." I don't think he liked my attitude. But despite encounters like these and previously cited situations (i.e.: accused of being prejudiced), I love handing out bread. Maybe I like the anger. Who knows. Friday was a long day, and none of the interns saw it coming. We had our first picnic ...
Los Angeles, California, United States amcgilli... After" and can't seem to put it down. Had a bit of a crisis in the love department, which left me a trifle worse for wear, so went to stay at Tiphaine's for a few days. She is living in the most amazing house in Beverly Hills with her three brothers, who have moved over here from Paris. It is like something from MTV Cribs. The whole 90210 yards. As you can imagine, it was a bit of a shock to the system going from the hostel, where we were only allowed one blanket (mine was ...
Los Angeles, California, United States slinkymlinky... of the level of personal car use becomes apparent when you go to flag a cab. People in LA rarely flag a cab... most cabs will come to your home to collect you... but if you attempt to flag one down it's a different story... be warned you almost need to throw yourself in front of the bloody taxi to make it stop... the cab drivers here just don't look out for people flagging them down... My first morning was quite fortuitous... I ended up going back to the small cafe on Santa Monica Blvd ...
