Sacred cows that roam the streets... no grass fed beef here (more like trash fed?). They are everywhere, especially in Chennai, where these cows are even decorated with ribbons for celebrations like Pongal.
It is a land of contrasts:
- the food is incredibly spicy and their sweets are almost unbearably sweet...

So nice to wake up to the sound of the waves.... even better to wake up and take a swim! I'm up and on the beach by 6 am. Jim and I had made plans to meet on the hotel lobby at 7am and head down to Huntington Beach and catch some of the Van Open.
