    ... alive was good. Got some washing done yay, anyone who gets close enough will be pleased that we have plenty of nice clean clothes. Was nice to see Ray and Jane as well of course. Stephen and I are staying at the pub round the corner so we went and got ourselves settled before back to Ray and Jane's for tea. The next morning we headed off to Arundel castle, very cool!     ... in the UK, Stonehenge is the only one with lintels (the long stones on top, joint one pillar to the next).
    The stones are sectioned off, so people cannot walk between them for safety reasons, as too many people walking around will cause damage to the ground which could undermine the foundations of the stones & they could topple over (as one did in the early 1900's).     The site is now heavily managed, with a visitor site some way from the henge where we were charged significantly and given self-managing audio guides. Carriages pulled by Land Rovers took us the remaining 2-kilometers to the path that circles the site.
